The only difference between this belt and the last two is the length. I now get more for the money. Supple and everlasting, they are great.
Overall a pretty nice belt, but not as nicely finished as one that I bought in Sydney many years ago. I would described the leather on these belts as completely natural and somewhat rough. My older belts had a more oiled and rubbed finish making them softer.

The natural and somewhat rough texture of the leather is a characteristic of genuine leather. It's worth noting that our belts are designed to soften and develop a unique patina with regular use. Initially, the stiffness is due to the plaiting process, which requires the leather strands to have a certain rigidity.
